OOEDO

OOEDO is a pioneer brand of souvenir confections sold at train stations.

Since its establishment, the company has expanded its sales channels beyond train stations to highway service areas, airports, and theaters such as the Kabuki-za Theater.

In response to consumer preferences, the company began producing soft, fresh confections and launched "OOEDO Kintsuba," which became a big hit.

The company has an established reputation for its sweet red bean paste that makes the most of the taste of azuki beans and less sweet.

Currently, the company manufactures its standard Kintsuba, Ningyo Yaki, and Dorayaki at a factory along the Arakawa River near the Ougi Ohashi Bridge.

The company has launched a new brand, "OOEDO TOKYO" under the theme of "from tradition to innovation.

The brand offers premium Japanese and Western sweets with Western elements added to Japanese confectionery, which are sold at pop-up stores and department store events in addition to mail-order sales.

The company is pursuing new initiatives in the pursuit of "deliciousness" that meets the needs of the times, while maintaining the human connections and sincerity it has maintained over the years.

Dorayaki Machine

Last January, the Compact type Dorayaki Machine was renewed to a medium-sized Dorayaki Machine.
In addition to its signature product " Ooedo Dorayaki" sandwiched with homemade red bean paste, the new brand "OOEDO TOKYO" develops and sells a variety of chilled products, such as "Crème de la reine" sandwiched with plenty of soy milk cream, and delicious re-baked products made with cheese and butter that can be warmed up.
"In order to increase production efficiency, we updated from a compact machine to a medium-sized machine. Our staff is happy that the machine now squeezes the bean paste evenly. Also, by remaining some room for manual work in the finishing process, we have expanded the range of our products. We used to have two types of dorayaki, but with the
introduction of the new machine, we now have seven different types. We also had a branding equipment added, which has given our products more originality and added value," They said.
It is a very good machine that is easy to change over and clean, and easy to teach the staff. Dorayaki is very popular, so we would like to continue developing new products in the future.
