Our team had the pleasure of visiting Shanghai Xinhao Industrial Co., Ltd., the company that distributes our Tabletop Pancake Cookers in Shanghai.Following their exhibition at Bakery China in May 2025, they have been actively promoting these products across China, including hosting a seminar on Tabletop Pancake Cookers in July.
We spoke with General Manager Zhang Shanmin about the company’s history and vision.

Founded in 2010, Shanghai Xinhao Industrial Co., Ltd. is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year (2025).
The company is a trading firm that handles not only our Tabletop Pancake Cookers but also raw materials such as flour and mixed flours.

“Originally, we were an import trading company, bringing in overseas food products—such as sweets—and wholesaling them to supermarkets and convenience stores. We handled products from Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan, as well as milk from Australia.”

In 2020, they began handling The Torigoe Co., Ltd.’s flour.The opportunity came after meeting President Lin of Tetsunosha at an exhibition in Taiwan.

“Shortly after, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, which was a challenging time for us. Now, we sell not only commercial flour and flour mixes, but also 1kg packages for home use. Home bread makers have become popular in China, too.”

The company has a staff of eight, seven of whom are women. The office is bright, lively, and welcoming.

“Our warehouse is located farther away, and we outsource logistics, so there’s no heavy labor on-site. It’s just a coincidence that most of our staff are women, but they seem well-suited to the meticulous and considerate work we do.”

In May 2025, Shanghai Xinhao opened a new lab in the suburbs of Shanghai and relocated its office.

“We regularly hold bread and pastry workshops in collaboration with Tetsunosha and hope to make full use of these facilities going forward.”

We asked General Manager Zhang about the company’s future plans.

“While focusing on raw materials for bakeries, we aim to refine our manufacturing techniques and provide ingredients, equipment, and technology that satisfy every customer.”

From our first exhibition of the Tabletop Pancake Cooker in China in May to this seminar, we are grateful for their unwavering support.Personally, I was nervous about my first overseas seminar, but everyone was cheerful and kind, and their warm smiles left a lasting impression.
