Themed \u201cRediscover the Charm of Dorayaki!\u201d, the event attracted participants from across China.<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"detail__text\">\n<h3 class=\"detail__subTitle\">Schedule<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"detail__list\">\n<p class=\"detail__text\">\nDay 1 Staff introductions<br \/>\n             Company overview and product information<br \/>\n             Batter preparation, baking demonstrations (5 types),<br \/>\n             and tasting<br \/>\n             Participant self-introductions<br \/>\n             Each participant discussed and submitted their<br \/>\n             prototype, including batter and filling composition\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"detail__text\">\nDay 2 Preparation and baking of six sets of seven types of batter<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000Exhibition of finished products<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000Explanation of each creation<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000Tasting and exchange of feedback<\/p>\n<p class=\"detail__text\">On the first day, we introduced our company\u2019s machines, including our Tabletop Pancake Cooker, shared the history of dorayaki, and presented Tetsunosha\u2019s batter preparation and baking demonstrations. We showed participants how to prepare and bake a variety of batters, ranging from standard dorayaki to Western-style pancakes, snack-style pancakes with curry powder, and fluffy pancakes paired with ice cream.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \u753b\u50cf\u30922\u3064\u4e26\u3079\u308b --><\/p>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn\">\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure seasoned professionals to first-time bakers, including owners of convenience stores, cake shops, bakeries, and chains of dorayaki specialty shops.<\/p>\n<p><!-- and pancakes, as well as mini versions and those made with a ring mold, finishing them with ingredients like cream, fruit, potato salad, and bacon. Each participant explained the concept behind their prototype and shared their feedback.<\/p>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn\">\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masdac.co.jp\/media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_6388-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\"><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\">Since we usually make savory dishes at the bakery, we tried curry-flavored pancakes. Making them myself was much easier than bread. I realized I need to study finishing touches a little more.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn\">\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\">I usually make scones and pies, so I added lychee cream, bean paste, and matcha, which are popular in our store. Some designs were inspired by snow-capped mountains. I learned a lot.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn\">\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\">I usually make cakes. This time I wanted something more standard to minimize waste.<br \/>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\">\n <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masdac.co.jp\/media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_6416-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\"><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn\">\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masdac.co.jp\/media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_6424-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\"><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\">We have four shops in Shanghai and one in Wuhan selling Japanese-style cakes. Our matcha and chocolate cakes are selling well right now. I thought it would be easier to commercialize them if I could adapt them into dorayaki, so I created a prototype.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn\">\n<div class=\"detail__twoColumn__inner\">\n<figure class=\"detail__twoColumn__image\"><figcaption class=\"detail__image__caption\">I thought a combination of fresh cream, custard, and bacon would be delicious. Many commented, \u201cI was interested in dorayaki, but I couldn\u2019t get started because I didn\u2019t have the knowledge or skills.\u201d This highlights the continuing popularity of dorayaki in China\u2014several department stores in Shanghai already sell freshly baked and chilled dorayaki. We hope that dorayaki continues to grow in popularity in China.
