This page contains the Controller’s privacy statement. Please read this privacy policy with care. The Controller has its registered office at Kabelweg 37, 1014 BA Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 34206938, and bears the name Masdac International BV. The Controller can be contacted by sending an e-mail to info@masdac.eu or calling +31 20 750 81 11.

This privacy statement explains how the Controller processes personal data. It states, for example, which personal data and categories of personal data are collected, and the purpose for which the personal data are used. The Controller also states the legal grounds for the processing of personal data.

The processing of personal data by the Controller falls within statutory exemption regulations, therefore processing is not reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

The Controller reserves the right to modify this privacy policy. The current privacy statement was last updated on 5 May 2018.

Types, objectives, legal grounds and period of processing of personal data

Personal data are primarily processed when you make an agreement with the Controller. The personal data are processed to be able to communicate with you, and to include your company details in the Controller’s systems. . The contact form indicates which data must be filled in. These are your name, address, e-mail address and phone number. The e-mail address is also used to inform you in the future about products or services that may be of interest to you.

Personal data will be retained for a period of 7 years.

The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds: your consent to the processing of your personal data.

Personal data that are collected physically

The Controller also collects personal data that are physically obtained from you, for instance during a meeting at a trade fair, where the Controller may request your business card. The information on this business card will be processed by the Controller in the database. By providing this information, you also agree with this privacy statement. The collection of these personal data is based on the same legal grounds as mentioned under the paragraph above.

Cookies

The Controller does not use cookies on its website.

Transfer to processors and third parties

Personal data are processed by companies engaged by the Controller to execute the agreement. In legal terminology, these companies are called ‘processors’, and include the company that hosts the Controller’s website, and the company that handles the Controller’s deliveries. Your personal data will also be shared with the Controller’s partners. The processors act under the responsibility of the Controller.

Personal data is also shared with third parties if the Controller is obliged by law to pass on personal data to competent authorities.

Security

The Controller has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. This website has an SSL certificate, which enables the transmission of data using a secure connection.

Your personal data are stored on a server outside the Netherlands, namely in the United States.
